Key Performance Areas Working with the executive team such as the operations director or managing director to set the marketing strategy for the business Implementing the marketing strategy set for the business Researching and analysing market trends and competitors and giving feedback to executive team Tracking the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the executive team Increasing brand awareness and market share Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales/ stores financial public relations and procurement departments Looking after the budget of the marking department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment Overseeing branding advertising and promotional campaigns Hiring leading and training a team of marketing associates Developing marketing strategies for new products Negotiating and liaising with third party marketing agencies suppliers and centre managements Managing the design and production of promotional materials such as websites brochures and all merchandising material Reviewing current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints Analyzing website clicktopurchase conversion rates and the effectiveness of promotions to determine what drives sales Identifying potential new markets and creating a plan to enter the market Partnering with product development and buying teams to identify products that fit the marketing strategy Brainstorming fresh advertising ideas with senior management Looking after the sales pipeline and partnerships brands and constantly looking for new ways to make products more attractive to new customers Overseeing content creation and all digital platforms to maximise brand awareness
Requirements and Key Competencies Bachelors degree in marketing finance business administration or similar A Masters degree in a relevant field will be advantageous At least 2 years experience as a marketing manager leading a marketing team 4 to 5 years marketing experience Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies channels and branding Superb leadership communication and collaboration abilities Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills Strong time management organizational and planning abilities Flexible and adaptable Professional Honesty & Integrity Creative & motivated Team player Willingness to learn Ability to understand the customers needs Ability to work independently
