Our client a leading Consulting Engineering company is searching for a Senior Environmental Consultant for their Johannesburg offices

Duties / Responsibilities
Involvement in and management of projects to be delivered nationally encompassing inter alia bidding fieldworks technical reporting client authority and stakeholder management internal and external resourcing eg contractors logistics planning budgeting and Quality Assurance Projects will variously focus on the Contaminated Land disciplines depending on pending workload
Consultants will also be required to provide project support to other disciplines across the wider national team at times as may be required
Guidance and mentorship of more junior consultants and technicians to support their career development and develop capabilities
Keeping abreast of latest regulations related to discipline as well as emerging best practices
Contribution to the company business development strategy in terms of identifying market and service opportunities & potential clients as well as participating in business development initiatives
Undertaking of all required administrative functions in accordance with the company procedures and timetables eg financial reporting and forecasting invoicing assisting with the debt management process expenses and timesheet submissions
Adhering to client site and company related Health Safety and Environmental policies at all times

Requirements
BSc Honours in related topic preferably MSc
8 to 15 years working experience in similar position
Pr Sci Nat preferred or at least working towards
Valid drivers licence and minimum 2 years driving experience
