We are searching for a qualified Actuary to manage the actuarial pricing function who will be responsible for the development of rating tools and models and to support the pricing of new and renewal business This is an Executive/ Senior Management role which requires the successful incumbent to have 6 or more years of actuarial experience in a short term insurance environment This role further requires strong people management skills as the successful candidate would be required to mentor develop and lead dynamic and professional teams

Requirements
Must be a qualified actuary FASSA FIA or FFA
6 or more years of actuarial experience in a short term insurance environment
Experience in multiple functions including pricing reserving capital is preferred
Experience of providing actuarial advice to senior management
Experience in managing a team of actuarial professionals
Experience at prioritising resourcing and planning
Knowledge of actuarial professional guidance and relevant legislation
Knowledge of actuarial pricing techniques and methodology
Knowledge of the insurance industrys trends directions major issues regulatory considerations and trendsetters
