Our client is searching for a Senior Fire Engineer to be based in their Johannesburg offices The ideal candidate would have the ability to deliver requested work within deadlines and correct information as per engineering design and CAD standards

Responsibilities
Overall responsibility of performance of Fire Services Division
Preparation of bids and tenders for new work
Kick off meetings design concepts line diagrams plant areas preparation of technical reports budgets
Tender design including obtaining approval of contractors list and development of full tender design tender adjudication report
Construction  including first fix design specific tenant requirements and costs second fix design site supervision quality control
Close Out
Cost Control
Client Interface and Marketing
Be able to manage junior staff who work with the senior engineer on large projects including senior engineers engineers technicians CAD operators
Attendance at business related networking functions client functions ensuring  repeat work from clients and developing a client base
Be able to focus on client care which would involve client interface including gaining the clients respect and trust capable of gaining a deeper understanding of clients needs

Requirements
BSc Degree from a recognised tertiary institution
7 to 10  years experience in consulting engineering environment
